I have no personal experience with them, but I can say according to
"PC Magazine's" Reader Response Surveys, Acers have the lowest
"needed repair" rate of any laptop over the last two years, including
Apple. Considering what Acer sells them for, this is to me remarkable.
They must have some good QC going.
I have an El Cheapo Acer desktop,almost 2 years old, & never had a bit
of trouble with it.
