On Microsoft Power point '00 is there any way for text boxes to be like see
through so that you can see the background and at the same time the see
through background giving a light background to the text for eg a footy
player playing foot ball and u put a box saying "try" but its either all
white, blocking out an area of the picture, or see through, allowing u to see
both background and text. please help thnak you

Right-click the edge of the textbox, select "Format Textbox". Click the
"Colors and Lines" TAB and change the "Transparency" setting to the desired
see-through-ness you want!

Slight versional adjustment:

Right-click the edge of the textbox, select "Format Textbox".

In 2002/2003:
Click the
"Colors and Lines" TAB and change the "Transparency" setting to the desired
see-through-ness you want!

In 2000/97:
You need to pick More Colors from the fill colors drop down and put a check
next to SemiTransparency.
