who can tell me some forums for Children

I don't really know of any, to be honest.

MSN? ;)

If any exist, I imagine it would have to firmly regulated/controlled, kids are hard enough to control at the best of times.

We have enough trouble with some adults on forums :D

I let my three loose on MSN from about age 10, they've all turned out reasonably normal :)

get him a hotmail account, and MSN messenger,

Then he can chat to all his mates on T'internet

Mucks you beat me to it!!!

What age children, what are he/she/they into??? If you post back I may be able to offer some pointers as I have three and there will be other people too who have some thoughts.

As people here will know I am not the biggest fan of MSN and in any case I would want to know the age of the child/ren before suggesting it. There's some quite nasty stuff going on with MSN with younger ones certainly in my area - by that I mean name calling, bullying etc..... That's before we start to consider the security issues - spyware and the like and the sharing of files and the like between young people who don't know what they are doing.

Give us a bit more information and we will do our best to help!!

Love

Gabs xx

If he's into graphics/dolling then I can ask my daughter (13yo) she's also a member of a couple of role playing forums but they allow a little 'bad' language so if he's young then they wouldn't be suitable.

Thanks mucks, I got some good homeschooling sites there :D.

Jim2000honey (do you have a preferred shortening?) Also, if you are specifically wanting somewhere that he can talk to other kids then there is always neopets. My kids both loved that (my 13yo has recently 'grown out of it') It has games, 'pets' etc & guilds where they can chat with each other & 'neomail' within the site. The site is thoughroughly censored & caters to a wide variety of interests & age groups, although the very young are not allowed to join guilds or use neomail for safety reasons your boy should be fine. If you want to check it out it's www.neopets.com
