White Text-Black Background

Is there any way to reverse white text on black background on a JPEG copied
from the Internet (no copyright issue) I want to print. I want to save on
black ink!

Open the file in an image editing program
and find an option that will produce an effect
like a film negative. (IOW..reverse the colors)

IrfanView can do it:

Download IrfanView
http://www.tucows.com/preview/194967.html
(get the plug-ins too)

Open your image in IrfanView and go to...
Image / Negative.

Thanks, John. As usual you give prompt good advice. I used Elements 4, found
Invert, white text turned to black, black background to pink (!) then to
white after a white color Paint Bucket Tool click.
