white screen freeze up

And then all of a sudden I get a white screen that fills
the whole tube.If I'm printing a page from the web when
the screen whites out ,the document keeps printing. I've
touched escape, and a number of other keys to no avail.I
then have to restart the pc to get back to work. Any

Could be a buggered screen saver. But if the screen goes white while you
are using your machine, that can be ruled out. I also wonder if Windows'
power management software is working properly. Set the Power Scheme
to "Aways On" and the other settings to "Never". See if the problem happens
again. There must be a pattern to this thing you haven't yet noticed. Is the
Task Scheduler running a broken app.
