White Noise between cuts

When I'm transfering a finished video back to my Samsung
DV camcorder, and watch it after, I realize that every so
often, during a "blunt" cut (no transition) there's a
brief crackle, like white noise. The video isn't
affected, just the sound.

(I'm using a Firewire)

Thanks to anybody who answers,

Gabe

You might be better saving it to your hard drive first, and then using the
WinDV utility (link on my Digital Camcorders > Intro page).

I'm assuming you're going directly from your Movie Maker project to your
camcorder.

Gabe,

I just posted something similar to your problem, but the 'white noise'
happens in movie maker (while the project is still a MM file) AND it also
shows up on the final DVD. A white noise or hissing snap happens when
ever a pop-up title comes on the screen. It also often happens between
scenes or between inserted photos. It's very annoying and seems to just
suddenly "appear" even if it was not there in a previous viewing.
