Need help. Each time I turn on computer, I get a white wallpaper over
any wallpaper I have selected. As the computer turns on, I can see the
wallpaper I have selected but then a plain white wall paper overlaps
it and I am unable to change it. I have tried disabling all
application when windows open to see If its a program but the white
wallpaper is still there. help.

You need to check what has been selected -Start, Control , Desktop,
Background. Selecting None with the Colour as White might be a
combination producing the result you describe.

Hope this helps.

This sounds rather like an Active Desktop problem, which gives similar
symptoms.

Check under the "Web" tab of the display properties that Active Desktop is
turned off (unticked) and ths may solve your problem.
