while browsing internet, suddenly the RPC service fails

while browsing the internet, suddenly there come a message
that the RPC service is missing.
After that, i cannot open links in webpages anymore.
In the Service Manager, i can see then that the Service is
stopped. It is configured to start automatically on system
start.
