Will the Richink control expected for Compact Framework 2 include
RichText features like Pocket Word, or is this just for
signature/scribble capture?

Is this control available right now for testing in VS 2005 Beta?

While the control was available in earlier betas it has now been dropped and
won't be a part of .NETCF v2.0. There is a third-party RichInk wrapper
available from http://www.intelliprog.com/netcf/richink.html , also a basic
wrapper around InkX is included in the SDF - www.opennetcf.org/sdf/

Thank You Peter,

I've been down this road before. I think I may just make my own
control. I need a flicker-free double buffered Richtext control. No
ink or anything. I was hoping Microsoft would finally release something
more then plain-jane text or html controls.

Mark Ericson has done the basic ground work for such a control. Search
for "Secrets of the Richedit control" to find his work.
