If everything else unmentioned is equal, which it probably isn't, I
would probably spring for the Dell and the SSD. That's most likely me
overvaluing the SSD's novelty and reliability.

That said, though, f*ck Dell for a year. The screwed
up an order I made with them, did not make any effort
to fix it, and tried to upsell me when found out they
had been lying to me about my refund being "in process."
The salesperson was very nice when I was making my
order, but didn't have anytime to call me back after she
sent me hardware completely different than my price
quote. Damn, I can't believe how perfectly they managed
to piss me off by disregarding my instructions, their
own promises and the evidence of their own screw ups.
They get a year, maybe two, in the penalty box, and if
they're still around after that, I might consider trying
them again.
