I vaguely remember recently using a program/utility (which I believe
was included as part of the Windows XP system) that essentially
provides a list of various processes (such as the ones found in Task
Manager such as "lsass", "vsmon", "svchost", etc.) and gives a
description of each one including the subdirectory path it's on, but I
can't seem to remember which program/utility it was. (It wasn't Task
Manager itself because Task Manager doesn't give information about
each process).
I need to know this because when I occasionally check the Task Manager
and notice a higher-than-normal number of processes, I want to know
who the "strangers" are and whether they belong there or whether
they're invaders.
Does anyone know what I'm referring to, and can tell me which program
it was?
