Which ViewSonic LCD; VP912 or VP191?

Hello,

I am about to buy 19" LCD monitor. After some searching I tend to like
ViewSonic monitors. Now the question is whether to buy VP912 or VP191.
I don't have chance to test them side by side so comparison is
somewhat difficult. According to specification VP912 is brighter and
has faster response time, but VP191 has clearly better contrast. My
usage would be general home use (surfing the net, word processing,
watching photos etc.) but not so much playing games or video.

Any general recommendation whether one or the other is clearly better
choice (price is effectively the same)?

I guess the question actually is, whether VP912 simply is newer
generation product making VP191 more or less obsolete regardless of
the usage, or if these are really two competing products optimized for
different usage patterns.
