machine - nic card, video card, hd, etc
so that you can search for all the updated drivers.

Yes that is one - I found that name and Aida both listed on
pricelessware.org.
So if anyone has reasons why one may be better than the other please let us

Hands down AIDA32. It can correctly detect what hardware you have
without having drivers installed.
