Hello,

Just wanted to get a few opinions on which fan to get to replace my dead
Slot 1 SECC@ P3 733 fan. The original is a 2 fan job, so I went looking
for one of those. But, then I came across some 3 fan jobs, and that
intrigued me. Certainly, 3 fans must be better than 2, right?

Also, my MB is an Asus P3C-D dual processor, so I was thinking that if I go
with the 3 fan job, I might get two of them so that both CPUs are running
at the same temp. Any comments here?

Thanks,

Scott

While considering two or three fans, you may also want to consider
that Intel had only one on their heatsink. I think three fans would
be an ear-sore.

keep it simple and less costly.. PIII's don't run that hot AND your
dividing the work between two.

Get a five fan job then set up the computer - cover off - in a refrigerated
room - that *may* be enough. If not, post back and we will discuss wind
tunnels.
