Which profile am I in?

In order to overcome the problem that some of my accounts
are dial-up and some are dsl, and some are business and
some are home I wanted to be able to take advatange of
Outlook features but also be able to choose which
accounts were to be sent or received at any given moment.

Having set up some profiles I seem to have two main
problems. One is, "how do I know which profile I'm in?",
because although I have named them the name doesn't seem
to appear on screen, and the other is "how do I swap from
one profile to another without exiting the programmme?".

Any help with either of these problems will help. I had
the same problem five years ago but i thought the latest
version to run with XP might have corrected what has
always seemed to me to be obviosly defective.

Am I the only one?

All help appreciated.

The box says Office XP version 2002, so I guess Outlook
2002. It's a new computer I'm setting up but for the time
being I've reverted to the old one so cannot click "about".

Thanks
John

Milly, I seem to have responded to your message twice
before but wherever the message has gone it ain't on the
thread! Anyway, third time lucky.....

I am configuring a new computer running XP and have bought
an all new copy of Office XP, so I think it's Outlook 2002.

I'm actually still using the old computer during the
working week so I can't check the "about" for you.

All help appreciated.
