Which OS is Operating?

I have recently purchased a new computer on which XP pro has been
installed on my C: Drive. I had my old Hard Disk installed and it
shows up as H: Drive on my new computer. My old computer was running
WinMe.

I have found that some of my programs on the H: Drive still work. One
program , Forte Agent, even works if I pick up the entire Directory
and copy it to my new C: Drive. Are these programs still being
operated by whatever remnants of WinMe still exist on my H: Drive?

Next week I plan to reFormat H Drive.......will the programs I have
moved to my new C: Drive crash??

No - some applications just don't have to be "integrated" into the
registry/system directories as much.
Next week I plan to reFormat H Drive.......will the programs I have
moved to my new C: Drive crash??
Shouldn't.
