Between ABIT IP35 Pro, ASUS PK-E and Gigabyte P35-DS4 whic is your preference and why?.

If your using or have used any of these please comment on your configuration and or any problems you have. I've seen an alarming # of reviews with DOA ASUS units and that
concerns me.

Thanks,

brian

I just built a system using the Gigabyte P35-DS4 v2. I didn't even
consider the ABIT and ASUS MoBos, because the Gigabytes (P35-DQx and -DSx
series) had good reviews everywhere I looked. It has support for 1333 MHz
FSB and 45nm CPUs, so it will be upgradable for a while.

C2D E6850, 2 GB Crucial Ballistix PC2-8500, Antec Earthwatts 500, Lian-Li
PC-60+2, Raptor 150, HIS X1950 gfx, Samsung 244T, Creative X-Fi. The
digital display on my UPS sez it draws about 130 watts normally (low/no gfx
load, full CPU load, monitor in Standby).

Documentation is very good. The only problem I've had is with the on-board
Realtek audio. It didn't work in Windoze, so I added in a sound card.

Otherwise, it has everything I need, including Firewire and ESata, and
plenty of USB ports. I don't intend to use SLI or Crossfire, so I can't
comment on the usability of the 2 16x PCIe slots. OTOH, the second one
should be useful for a SAS controller, if I decide to get one later...
