I've got my FS4000, my Vuescan and a stack of negatives strips that is
12 inches deep waiting to be scanned. Since mom and dad did not do a
very good job at archiving these for the past 40 years, they are
unsorted and not matched to the corresponding photo prints, off course
(cigar box storage method used).
I will need to decide what to scan from each film strip otherwise the
scanning job will take another 40 years.
Thus I want a to buy a convenient negative film strip viewer with the
following characteristics in order of importance:
1. ease (speed) of loading and onloading film strips
2. 2X, or better yet 3X, magnification
3. Not the eyepiece kind, I'd prefer the mini-TV type of possible
3. back-lighted
4. +/- $50
I'm very much interested in what you guys use/reccommend.
Thanks
