I just wanted to share my latest purchase of the ReadyNAS 600 diskless unit,
which is currently used used in our office as a backup in repalcement to a
Tape Solution.
We had shortlisted the TeraStation and the ReadyNAS 600. The ReadyNAS got
the edge on the basis of having SATA support, more security features,
SNapshot is more flexible to setup and is slightly quicker, most of all with
the new version 2.0 upgrade to its op system, the ReadyNAS has climbed up a
peg or two above the TeraStation. it also now supports Slimserver.
If anyone wnats to know more, l am preapred to elaborate the pro's and con's
of the two units.
We purchased our unit from Aegis, LLC based out of Florida.

I hope this helps anyone who wishes to purchase a NAS applaince.
