Ok..

I've been a little silly and ripped all my MP3's while not online.
Hence they are called TRACK 01, TRACK 02 etc.

Is there a way I can use a renamer so that I tell it the album name
and have it assign TRACK 01 to its real name, simply by the album name
?

JMP3Renamer does just that. Simple and free
http://jmp3renamer.sourceforge.net/

I use it all the time

I've become quite fond of ID3-TagIT (http://www.id3-tagit.de). Really
great program. (Wish it had a CDDB option too, though.)

Version 3 of id3-tagit does have freedb search. And so does The
Godfather <http://users.otenet.gr/~jtcliper/tgf/>.

id3-tagit has long been my favorite.

Hopefully those who've posted and more are still reading.. After
research I got this util

http://www.medic.dk/

It is very basic but somehow seems to work quite well! The only
problem is it does no do ID3 tags. Only renames.

The key thing is that its all done automatically ! Just point to the
dir that contains the album. I did'nt even think this was possible but
somehow !
