My trusty K7S5A finally croaked after 3 years and I am left deciding
which el cheapo mobo will last me for at least another 2 years. Accdg.
to reviews the Nforce2 400 chipset will kick the KT600' arse. However,
RAID, SATA, built in Wifi, and gigabit lan on the A7V600 seems too
good to pass up. I will still be running my XP1800+ on this mobo but
am planning to swap it for a barton and I will definitely overclock.
System use is surfing, gaming, email, usenet, cd/dvd burning, &
development. Opinions wanted. TIA!

prices on newegg:
NF7 - $88
A7N8X-X - $84
A7V600 - $89

Can you wait until the new chipset KT880 from VIA, with dual channel
support ? Probably it will have the same (+ or -) performances of the
nForce2, but with a more reliable drivers.
It will be released in September.
