Hi,

Brand loyalty aside, when faced with a choice between the nVidia
GeForce4 MX 440 128MB 8xAGP and the ATI Radeon 9250 256MB PCI video
cards which one would you choose?

Thank you.

That is a pretty strange comparison.. why compare an AGP and PCI card?

I'm pretty certain the AGP card will be faster in games. The Radeon card
will offer better 2D image quality.

However they both suck. :P

I'd toss both of em.

Given that you won't really be gaming, I'd go for the one which is most
likely to have the best 2D quality, the Radeon.

I'm getting rid of some hardware, cannibalizing two systems to create
one, that sort of thing. I have these two video cards I'm not sure
which computer to put into and I'm looking for some opinions to help me
decide.

The ATI is slower (PCI) but it has 256MB of memory. The nVidia on the
other hand is faster (8xAGP) but only has 128MB of memory.
