Mr. Belton,
First thanks a mil. for the "albumwrap" info. I've not found it yet but I'm
a horrible novice to this stuff.
The main focus of this entry is to ask which group you were refering to as
"This is the wrong group for this, but..."
I just want to pose my requests to the appropriate newsgroups. I'm guessing
the group was .musicproducer. discussion. Correct? Your response was at
every site I posed that question and I don't know how to tell, even if it's
possible, which group you were with when you gave this kind response.(?)
For future reference which group(s) would be best for questions of this
sort?
Again, thank you for your time.

Don't listen to them, feel free to ask ANY PC music-related questions in this
group.

Actually - no, the original poster should make an effort to post to the
most relevant group as regards the technology area that their question is
related to.
If they can identify a more appropriate newsgroup if we have one. So a
music related question on Windows XP would almost certainly be more
appropriately asked and is more likely to receive a helpful response from
microsoft.public.windowsxp.music and so on. It is product specific then
maybe a product specific groups would be better e.g the musicproducer ones.
