Has anybody had any luck using a "Diamond Stealth S9250 Radeon 9250 PCI 256MB
Graphics Card" using Vista? If not can anyone recommend a graphics card to
get? I'm looking need to buy a new graphics card and would like some input on
what will work. Thanks much.

If you upgraded to 9500 or 9550 you'd be OK. I use 9550 and Aero/Flip3D are
working fine.

What other future requirements do you have if any such as the use of SD or
HD TV tuners or decoding of MPEG4 (H.264) video or high performace gaming?

My machine started life with an ATI Radeon 9200 SE. All i did was change the
graphics card to a ATI Radeon 9550 and everything was fine, I got aero and
3D flip.

Hi, I have just purchased a GeForce6200 very reasonably from my local pc
store (cost <£50).
I had to download the vista drivers from the nvidia web site and all is now
working fine. Very impressive Aero and 3D flip.

I now have a "PCI" card in the PCI slot on my Asus A8V deluxe motherboard.
Can I remove that card and put a "PCI Express Card" in that slot? Thanks

No.

No,
PCI and PCI Express are 2 *very* different interfaces,
and your motherboard do NOT support PCI Express.

Do yourself a favour, and get an AGP card.
Either a Nforce 66xx or 7xxx series card, or
an ATI based (Radeon 96xx or higher) if you preferr.
