Which FSB?

I'm looking at 2 different boartd, ABIT AN8 and a MSI K8N Neo4 F.
The ABIT specs the FSB as 2000mhz and the MSI specs theirs as
1000mhz Hypertransport. What is Hypertransport and is the ABIT really
2 times faster than the MSI with equivalent memory and CPU?

I just looked up a couple reviews of each board. the MSI is one of the
cheapest 939 boards out there right now and not many people have anything
good to say about it. Hypertransport in MSI terms is basically a multiplier.
I would seriously suggest you go with the ABit, they make far superior gear
in my opinion anyway. Also if your going to shell out the cash for a 64 bit
AMD why skimp on the board? Also get yourself a good PSU.

Your reply is interesting. I just got through reading the 10 top
board test from Toms Hardware and the MSI was right up there with the
ABIT. You still didn't really answer my question about how ABIT gets
a FSB of 2ghz and MSI gets 1ghz. The hypertransport is as I
understand it something AMD has implemented, not MSI.
