AVG scores allover better, use it now. Avast was perfect but scores
99% in most tests,.. though that's allover. If you use it, no need to
replace it?. But after the last major update (in combination with
Zonelabs) it slowed incoming mail.. something what it never did
before. And I has 2 friends with the same problem using Avast + ZA.
I now use Kerio as firewall. Serves fine.

I had trouble with Zone Alarm and I'm trying this:

What is cheap? The best AV is an educated user.

You can buy Kaspersky for about 35$ US/20 GBP
eTrust suite is twice that but includes AV/firewall/PestPatrol/spam
filter(that's what I use)
