Either works just fine. Unless you want to network more than five computers
or use some rather advanced security features that most home-users never

Either plays games equally well. If you have more than one user of the
system in your home, I would recommend Pro because you have more flexibility
with security.

Neither will make much difference if you're a single user gaming.

However Pro supports a much greater range of security options (for multiple
users on a single box) and can join a domain.
