Which DVI-D cable?

Just bought an LCD monitor with a DVI-D connector (also have a DVI-D
connector on my video card). I know I need a cable with male DVI-D
connectors on both ends and after a little research I assume a dual link
cable would generally be better than a single link cable. Compusa has a
cable listed on their site for about $80 but I also found a dual link cable
for only $17 at
http://www.computercablestore.com/SearchResult.aspx?CategoryID=616 . Would
you expect the cheaper cable to be a waste of money, functional but maybe
not as sturdy or just as good as the Compusa cable?

Thanks
John

For short runs a cheap cable is just as good as anything... Being digital
the signal will work fine, or won't work at all. You shouldn't need a dual
link DVI-D cable, but at $17, it'll do the job fine.
