Hi!
After an 18 month long stint wihth an Nvidia card I got me an 4850 to be
a little more up to date.
Before I had the nvidia card I used ATI for over 5 years and I always
used the alternative Omegadrivers. I checked his site recently and it
seems that he's no longer updating his driver package.
So which other driver would you recommend instead and why?
- Plain ATI?
- ATI with CCC
- DNA
It seems to me that the DNA-set is a good option to go with because it
edges out the little mistakes in the original drivers and goes toward
more stability and compatibility. Those latter things are more important
to me than half a frame more in COD 4 or whatever...
I'm using Vista SP1 right now but I'm thinking about a dual-boot
installation with XP SP3.
Tnx in advance & happy holidays to everyone around here...
