Hello,

I have been advised to buy a Canon Mutifunctional Machine to Scan
Print Copy Print

the MP110 still available to buy but no Fax facility.

The Canon Smartbase MPC 600 F is a great machine but its been deleted
its got everything.

I was reading reviews it said that the cost of toner for Canon is
expensive.

I really don't know what to do any suggestions

Reading between the lines, do you need FAX capability?
If so the MP780 has a good reputation see
http://consumer.usa.canon.com/ir/controller?act=ModelDetailAct&fcategoryid=123&modelid=10444
If you don't need FAX the mp750 is virtually identical otherwise. These are a
little expensive but really good technology. The problem is that if you spend
less you will get lesser quality.

I have been using an MP780 for 8-9 months now and can't say one bad
thing about it. I use compatible ink carts and the output is great and
the operating costs are super low.

Likewise, MP780 all the way... It's a lot cheaper than I would expect
given the feature set (which is pretty long to say the least).

The earlier models tend to use single carts for multiple colours instead
of the one cart per colour that the Mp780 has.. So it's easier to
replace ink as it runs out.

AND WHEN HE CLOGS THE PRINTHEAD HE MAY HAVE TO THROW THE SCANNER AWAY
ALSO. THAT IS ONE OF THE BAD THINGS ABOUT MFD. BESIDES EPSON SCANNERS
ARE BETTER AND FASTER THAN CANON AND CANON PRINTERS ARE BETTER AND
FASTER THAN EPSON. YOU CANNOT GET BEST OF BREED FOR EACH.

AND UNLESS YOU ARE A VERY HEAVY PRINT USER STICK WITH OEM INK.
