I am currently using Telewest Broadband services in my home (Including Telephone & Digital TV). It is just £30 approx. I am about to move to another flat so thought to ask you people. Which Internet connection should I take. AOL, BT, Telewest, Tiscali or any other.

I am looking for value for money.

**Considering my friends who are facing problems with bulldog. I will prefer not to opt that but still comments /suggestions are welcome. :-))

As I see it there is ONLY two choices ... BT or NTL/Telewest ... if you cannot get NTL/Telewest, as I cannot, :( sob :mad: ... then your stuck with a "BT someone or other" ... and if that is so, stick with BT Yahoo, and uninstall all the Yahoo crap ;)
... and no TV or cheap phone :(

If I had a spare million or two I would pay NTL to dig the street up and lay the 200 yard cable needed. :D

i have tiscali 512K its not the fastest but a 30GB cap for £15.99 isn't bad, take a look at plusnet

I've used Zen for two and a half years now, not the fastest (512 down, 256 up) but very reliable.

£25.00 a month, no limits, gig of web space, 8 IP addresses, good helpline, 50:1 contention, and minimum contract is one month.

I'm really happy with them.

My main priority is online gaming and it's absolutely excellent for that. Zen

Thank you for all of your advices, in terms of price and service. I guess NTL/Telewest is cheepest and give you much more. Now a days offer is going on £25 per month and it includes TV and Phone as well as broadband (512K). I think it is the best option for me.

Thanks for other people help as well but paying £17 for broadband and then paying additional for telephone line and TV (Although I don't need that but still... :-)) ). It will be much more expensive.

Have to say that plusnet have been great for me and with their referral discounts I'm now paying £1.31 for unlimited 2Mb. :)

That sounds great. When I will be moving to new home. I will get back to you. :-)) {I am pretty hopeful after that you will be paying even less for that}

thats what I call good value for money
and it was only on a monthly contract, no 12 month commitment!
