I've nearly got enough to get meself the processor for my new computer. I am not looking for dual core as that won't give me any real advantage in applications (except if i want to run a virus check) for a few years yet, but will cost twice as much.
Was just wondering if you'd give me your opinions on which is best value for money. I will be using it for mostly gaming (and alot of it), massive downloads, small amounts of video encoding etc, so fairly intensive stuff. I would rather not spend £235 though ...
The choices are:
3500+ - £164.44 - 2.2ghz, 512kb cache
3700+ - £199.69 - 2.2ghz, 1mb cache
3800+ - £234.74 - 2.4ghz, 512kb cache
I cannot go higher than that
Cheers Guys
ps all prices were from http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Socket_939_cpus.html
