Just was reading about the K8 core, and saw there were 3 version of the
3400+.
1) 2.2GHz, 1MB L2 Cache, 64-bit wide
2) 2.4GHz, 512K L2 Cache, 64-bit wide
3) 2.2GHz, 512K L2 Cache, 128-bit wide
Each one has its own advantage, #1 has more L2 cache, #2 has more clock
speed, but #3 has a effective Quadrupled bus speed, so that while 1 & 2
would be running at 2x200 FSB, 3 is running at 4x200.
So, what would be the best choice, more L2 cache, more clock speed, or more
bus bandwidth?
