I have Windows XP Home, MS Office 2000 and MS Word. Also I have an Address
Book. It's easily accessible from Outlook Express, but how to get to it in
MS Word?

You cannot use the Outlook Express Address Book directly in Word. It must
first be exported as to a Personal Address Book.

Doug,
thanks for your suggestions. I exported my OE Address Book to a Personal
Address Book and got a message that export was successful. But when I opened
Word, I was unable to find this Personal Address Book. Moreover, when I
attempted to use Address Book in the Envelopes and Labels I got an error
message.
The KB article was not much help either. It's related to Word 97, while I
have Word 2000.
So, back to my original question: is there any way to use any address book
in Word the way the OE address book is used - you can open address book and
scroll it and look for phone number, or an address, or zip code, etc. I'm
not speaking about mail merge, I'd like to have an access to my address book
from within Word. If it is possible, I'll appreciate a step-by-step
instruction on how to do it.
Thanks again,
Ilya
