the good grace to label its current release of 2.5 a Beta. And BTW, for a
Beta it performed an order of magnitude better than most final release
software I've seen lately. Hats off to Eset for having the integrity to
wait until the product deserves a "final Ok" before calling it a final
release.
The web site says it was released on 5-11-05. Is theYes, that seems a rarity these days (Opera 8.0 is a recent example, which,
publicly anyway, went from a long-ago beta to a release without passing Go
or collecting $200 in between; needless to say, 8.01 went into beta very
quickly). As you probably know, Eset did release v2.5 final today, and early
word on it in the forums is quite good. I dropped it on top of the previous
final version here and it's worked smoothly so far.

The web site says it was released on 5-11-05. Is the
new version being pushed out as an "update" to the 2.12
versions?
Suffice to say I was surprised when I found out I'd been
running 2.12.2, when the web site says 2.12.3 has been
out since October of '04.
