Where's IE's taskbar?

Lately I've noticed with some concern that my Internet
Explorer browser no longer displays a taskbar. My
concern is exacerbated by a recent dialogue from
ZoneAlarm, my firewall, that IE asked permission to
accept outside connections. According to ZoneAlarm IE
does not normally request to function as a server and -
longstoryshort-something underhanded might be afoot.
Perhaps, to play it safe, I should uninstall - then
reinstall - IE.

Never mind, I found it in the "tools" menu.
