Where's a dialup interface?

I examined the registry of my WinXP Pro and found that under the
"HKEY_LM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters"
key there're 3 entries in the "Adapters" key:
1. {uid1}
2. {uid2}
3. NdisWanIp

but under the "Interfaces key" - 6 entries:

1. {uid1}
2. {uid2}
....
6. {uid6}

The 1st two values are same for both the "Adapters" and "Interfaces",
for example "uid1" and "uid2". And "uid1" contains more values than
others and it seems that it is responsible for my LAN connection.
The other "uid"s have a few data values and they are mostly filled in
with nulls.
Also my pc has dialup and 1394 connections. And I'm trying
to find what "Interface" entry corresponds to my dialup connection.
Any ideas?

On my machine, the WAN adapter seems to have two interfaces according to the
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters\Adapte
rs\NdisWanIp:IPInterfaces key, but I'm not a RAS expert.

Why do you care?
