Wherever you left it. Grow up and ask the proper question. ie. "I have
installed a new programme/upgraded to windows xp and now my buddy list is
gone" or something similar. Not everyone in these newsgroups is telepathic.

Are you referring to AOL? or Yahoo IM? or MSN?

You aren't telling us if it "disappeared" or are you looking for where the
file is stored? Does it still work or not? etc.

Regardless, the "buddy list" is part of the program that runs it, NOT WinXP.

Thus, if you are an AOL user, your Buddy List will be part of AOL and you
will need to access it or reconstruct it from there. If you still need help
on an AOL buddy list, I suggest going to AOL's help/newsgroups and see if
they address whatever your particular issue is.

First, you have to have a buddy! If you had one you could ask him
whaere your buddy list is. Maybe he knows where it is. :-(
