Where to verify whether my cam works

Is the an address to where I can verify whether my cam works properly? My
cam is an old parallel port Logicam and my regular correspondant (on a
dial-up) only gets a frozen first image still of me.

Greetings Anthony,

Unfortunately no, there is no current way to actually "test" your connection. Does the
camera work in the Audio/Video Tuning Wizard (open the main Messenger window, click the Tools
menu, then Audio Tuning Wizard)?

Yes, everything checks out
and so I was wondering if somebody else would be willing to start up a video
conversation with me.

My regular and I have lit-up our rooms better, disabled our low-light
filter, auto brightness + auto color, we use the smallest dimension possible
and the greatest compression and exposure time possible- all to minimize the
flow but could it still be a bottleneck issue?
