Where to sell my software

Hi everyone, I have developed some software which I would like to sell
online.

Can anyone please give me some pointers about the best way to do
things? Specifically websites which would sell on my behalf (Ebay,
Download.com). Things to avoid etc?

Don't post copies of the same question in different groups. Make a
proper cross post, so that the replies show up in all the groups.
