Where to put my surround sound speakers?

I bought some Logitech z650 4.1 surround sound speakers. I am in a
relatively small room and my desk is in the corner. I know the sub will go
underneath my desk but where would my other 4 speakers go?? Where should I
position them, height etc... Thnx so much.

surely you cant be serious
 
The speakers should be as close as possible to the level of your ears.
The two front speakers, the distance between them should be one half the
distance from the listener
So if you are 4 feet from the front speakers, they should be separated
(between them) by 2 feet.
the 2 other (rear) speakers should follow the same pattern, behind your
head.
