Can anyone suggest a newsgroup where I might find other folks who have had
problems with specific BIOS versions, for a specific Intel motherboard?
I certainly could not find an e-mail address for any relevant intel employee
or department.

Any help appreciated.

TIA

Go to www.google.com , and type in... intel bios problem.

Something there may help you, especially as you don`t say
what your problem is.

Agreed, the OP might as well state what the specific board
and other relevant details are, just in case someone
(wherever) has some experience with it.

OP might also try Googling for "<specific motherboard model
name and/or very closely related board names (since these
days, a manufacturer may make several with slightly
different feature sets that use very nearly the same bios
and are prone to same bios bugs)>" and "bios", without
"intel" or "problem".

Hmmm....
I already Googled the mobo with the word "bios." I have exhausted that
angle.
I'd really like to find an e-mail address at Intel, for inquiring about my
problem... (ha!) ... actually, to inform THEM of the apparent problem...But
Intel seems to have fortress walls against such entreaties.
The next best thing is to find an Intel newsgroup or forum...where
like-minded folks can meet....perhaps to commiserate. Actually, I have
noticed an anomaly with bios upgrades, and expect someone else has seen the
same.

Send them an actual letter (as in snail mail)
they probably don't get too many and may actually read it...
