It's available internationally, but Canon USA says they don't plan to
provide it. I want the CD print feature, otherwise I would buy the i860.

Thanks

Because of patent and other arrangements with Phillips Elect. the i860 is
not going to be sold in the US.

Sorry I meant the i865 is not availible in the US

Anyone know of a way to get it from overseas with 120v/60hz and English
documentation? I have a Philippine buddy looking at it from his end, but the
voltage issue again may be a problem.

Power Source:

AC 220-240V 50/60Hz

So you don't have to worry about the power source (at least with the version
in Australia). Just replace the power cable with a local one. It's the
type with the small figure 8 connector on the end.

I'd could arrange the export from Australia for you @ AUS$330 each, +
freight.
Its a shame our $ is doing so well against the USD now (for you at least).

Cheers

doh, just realised that is 220-240, not 110-240 (only looked closely at the
support of 60Hz)
strange, most PSUs now handle the lot.

It may be deliberate to prevent its sale in the US. You need someone with
money to burn to see if it can actually handle 110v 60Hz ok, and its just
limited on paper...

No problem, either get a transformer, or an i860 supply.
