I have an Elements 19" monitor with a mangled video cable.I've been
inside and it appears the ends plug into little modules. Seems
repairable if I knew where to get a replacement cable. Anyone know where
these might be sold and a ball-park price?
Thanks for any info.

That is a very common way of connecting the cable, but AFAIK there's no
set-in-stone standard to it. If you had the opportunity to cannabalize a
few dead monitors you might find what you need, or close enough to reduce
the amount of modification needed.
You already have the connectors, presumably intact on the current monitor,
so perhaps the most time-effective solution is to just grab the first
monitor cable you come across, lopp off the end and splice the
connector(s) onto it, at the very end so the entirety of the work is
concealed within the chassis.
If you're not in a hurry for the cable, "sometime" I'm going to be
scrapping a few monitors and usually open a few up to see if they have any
interesting salvagable parts inside. If you were to provide a good,
relatively hi-res picture of your cable/connectors (posted to a server,
not the newsgroup), I can see if any of those monitors have a compatible
cable.
