Hi there
Have a nice day
I got recently new computer with winXP pro
There are 6 computers in my small office. All computer are connected as clients static IP with switch-router
I used to check all computers from mine (win98) using Properties/Tool/Administer mode before
Now with winXP, I only can see all computers connected to switch-router
But I can't use administer mode to check them all.
I only see general tab when I right-clicked on each computer's properties
In win98 I can see General and Tools tabs
So pls help me how to get that Administer mode in winXP pro
winXP is very new to me
Thanks in advance

Kristina

I'm not sure what you mean by "Administer mode", but you can manage
the computers by using the Computer Management MMC snap in...

Go to Start=>Run=>compmgmt.msc to open up your local computer
management console... Right click on the Computer Management (Local
Computer) tree item and select the Connect to another computer.. Type
in either an IP Address or Computer name of the machine you want to
manage.. If you are not on a domain, you will need to supply a valid
username and password for that computer (with Admin Priveleges).
