Where to buy telescoping pole for running cable?

To get a cheap hook or other tool for the fiberglass poles I use the
cheapest paint roller handle I can find that has a threaded handle. Then I
use couple of Vice Grips to "modify" the roller handle by making a few bends
and I have the hook or other implement made that I need to shift cables
around.
