Hi - I want to buy my 10 year old a gaming PC for Christmas. I've been to a number of online providers and it's difficult to know who to trust. For a 10 year old it's as much about how it looks as it is how it performs. I'm struggling to find a provider with good reviews who can provide the 'bells and whistles' required. The spec I am less concerned about but he wants a liquid cooled system with lights - but he wants the case to be clear from the front as well as the side. Most people recommend we build it ourselves but I want to avoid that - I am looking for recommendations for companies who can provide great customer service (walk me through my options) along with great looking products. Any suggestions please for UK sites - thanks.

Hi GamingMum, welcome to PC Review. :)

I have personally found PC Specialist (https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/) to be a good company and have purchased three PCs from them over the years, including a gaming PC.

You can configure builds online, or choose from a selection of pre-built models. You will find water-cooled systems and cool cases. If you configure a PC, you will be told if any of your choices are incompatible, etc. They are probably not the cheapest, but I have certainly found their builds to be of very excellent quality. Their customer service has also been jolly good. They can be reached by phone, e-mail or you could visit them (if you happened to be living near Wakefield, that is.)

Good luck.
