where to buy 1GB DDR266 CAS2 2-2-2 1T?

Hi:

Does anybody know if there are any manufacturer that makes 1GB DDR266
cas2 2-2-2 timing. I am putting together a dual xeon system that has room
for four memory modules and i want to put 4GB of memory. I know you can
have 512MB modules that are cas2 with 2-2-2 T1 timing, but i need more
memory than just 2GB. I would really appreciate any help.

Why are you so concerned about the timing? Also, are you after ECC or
non-ECC? I would assume with a system that is important enough to need 2
xeons and 4 gig of RAM that you will be wanting ECC?

No, I want ECC. I am mostly be doing animation on this workstation and
don't need
registered or ECC memory modules. Because It has to constently retrieve
information
a faster memory means faster rendering time which when you have a long
animation it
would make a whole lot of difference.

Are you aware that most versions of Windows cannot allocate more
than 2GB of RAM to applications? All the RAM above 2GB can only be used
by Windows for itself. So in most situations the extra RAM is wasted.

Only Win2k and Win2003 Advanced Servers can allocate 3GB to applications
but even there some restrictions apply.
