Was wondering if there is a way to get the up arrow back that used to be in
Windows Explorer. The on that you could click and it would take you to the
parent directory/folder.

You COULD just click one folder back - or as many folders as you need to go.
It's faster than the Up button in this respect.

thanks but not always. Let's say I enter a directy address in the address
bar I have placed on my task bar. (c:\Dir1\dir2\dir3)
In this case hitting the backk button does not go to dir2 it will do nothing
as it will be the first directory i've looked at. I am so used to using the
UP arrow in many cases. Just a pref.

I hope MS will put it back in the final release.

Oh, I'm sorry - I meant on the bar at the top, click the folder one level
higher. Using your example, it would look like:
C:\ > Dir1 > Dir2 > Dir3
Then you could click on, say Dir1 - it saves a click. In a more complex
file structure, this can save a fair bit of time. Plus, you might have less
need to Up in the first place - those arrows expand into menus.
