Where the hell do you run this thing from?

I've downloaded this thing via Windows Update, more than
once seemingly. Now I'm poking around in the System Tools
and admin-tools menus and there's no trace of this damned
thing. In typical infantile Microsoft fashion, their
useless Web site says to go to the Start button and "all
programs."

Adult professionals are not using the Playpen Professional
UI that Windows XP ships with. We're using the regular
Windows (so-called "classic") interface, which does not
have the stupid categories in the program launcher area.

So how the hell do you launch the removal tool? This is
pathetic.

Adult? Professional?
Pathetic!
The program (if installed) you will find in Start>Programs

I'm 38 years old, and use XP in Playpen mode. :-(

My wife is like you. She runs it in "adult professional" mode.

I too run it in "adult Professional mode", which sounds a lot better than
"I run it in classic mode because I'm getting old and am having a hard time with change"

.
I'm running Win XP (without SP2 if that makes a
difference). I downloaded from the MS site and as it
turns out, after installation, the program shows up on the
Start Menu in both views/interfaces (with an Uninstall
button) on my machine as well as in Windows Explorer. In
addition, there's an icon on my Task Bar. I had to right
click on my Start Menu to "Sort By Name" so that it
appeared alphabetized. You may have downloaded the
Installation .exe but it has to be activated - try
searching for "MicrosoftAntiSpywareInstall" and double
click it.
